Description
This sander features a 6″ x 89″ belt that oscillates 1/4″ vertically at fifty-two times per minute! It also has a quick-release belt tension lever, graphite-coated platen that tilts 0°–90°, and a 2 HP, 240V motor. The W1730 has a 26-7/8″ x 12″ precision-ground cast-iron main table for edge sanding and a 10″ x 11-1/2″ cast-iron auxiliary table for spindle sanding. Three non-oscillating spindle sanding drums, measuring 1-1/2″, 2″, and 3″ in diameter are included for sanding smaller contoured surfaces. Other features include a 180° adjustable miter gauge, two 4″ dust ports, powder-coated finish, and a removable fence.
